As a famous expert in DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis), Toshiyuki Sueyoshi is an American professor at the New Mexico Institute of Mining Technology. In order to strengthen cooperation between the two sides, the Institute of Economic Research of Shandong University invited Professor Toshiyuki Sueyoshi to held a series of lectures for graduate students in our school, which were carried out in the fifth conference room of the Institute of Economic Research on May 24, 2018 and 27. The topics of this series are "Necessary (not Sufficient) Condition to publish Your Manuscripts in Well-Known Journals" and “General Trend of Energy and DEA Approach for Unified Efficiency Measures”. Li Aijun, an associate professor, hosted the lecture.
During these lectures, Professor Toshiyuki Sueyoshi introduced the necessary conditions for students to publish manuscripts in international journals from the perspective of editors and reviewers. Combined with the structure of the article, he detailed about the writing method and standard English expression of each section of manuscript. In addition, based on the trend of increasing energy consumption all over the world, Professor Toshiyuki Sueyoshi proposed a unified efficiency measurement method under the framework of DEA analysis.
