1. Brief introduction to The Center for Economic Research

The Center for Economic Research (CER), Shandong University is one of the most leading teaching and research institutions for the property rights theory, institutional economics, law and economics, general equilibrium theory, econometrics, transitional economics, economic growth and business cycle theory, mathematical finance, financial organization and insurance theory, and microeconomics in China. Currently, CER has acquired the authorization of PhD’s Degree and Master's degree in all the fields of theoretical economics and applied economics. The current director is Professor Huang Shao-an, one of the distinguished economists honored with “Cheung Kong Scholar”.

2. Qualifications

CER invites applications for full-time faculty positions starting from 2012. Candidates should be capable of teaching and specializing in one of the following subjects: Financial Economics, Econometrics, Macroeconomics and Monetary Economics, Microeconomics, and others.

3.Salary and benefits

Candidates will receive competitive packages with annual income no less than RMB250, 000 (negotiable), fund for starting researches, and senior positions and job title (e.g. associate professor or professor).
