Professor Jian Wei of SDUCER was selected to be supported by Ministry of Education’s annual Program for New Century Excellent Talents of the year 2006.

Professor Wei is professor of economics and director of the Institute of Law and Economics of SDUCER. His main research fields are law and economics, the theory of firm, institutional economics and capital market. The characteristic of his research is making comprehensive use of law, management, behavioral science, and other academic knowledge, based on an economic perspective, to study human behavior under certain institution. Professor Wei has published many articles on academic journals such asSocial Sciencein ChinaandEconomic Research.His monograph is regarded as standing for the first-rank research of law and economics in China.
