On April 16th, 2010, the president of Shandong University, Professor Xu Xianming, along with the deputy directors of Department of Academic Research, Prof. Zhao Xian and Prof. Fang Hui, Paid a visit to Center for Economic Research.

President Xu carefully listened to Prof. Huang Shaoan's report on the development plans of CER, and inquired the advices of some teachers.

President Xu highly praised the acheivements of CER since 1996. He said that this a place where a miracle is accomplished. Meanwhile, President put forward some requirments to CER that it is necessary to form the specialty during the academic development, and furthermore, to form a Shandong school in the economic research.
